Description
The TG77 is based on the SY77 sampler/synth. Both contain an synth module similar to the DX7mkII. The synth module has a 6 operator AFM synth engine with 45 algorithms, 3 feedback loops, and 16 waveforms. The sampler uses the AWM2 engine which can access samples from memory or external ROM cards, which can then be mixed with the AFM sounds.The rack also has resonant multi-stage Time Variant Filters.The rack features a total of 32 voices between the sampler and synth modules, as well as 4 independent digital multi-effects such as reverb, chorus, and panning.Source:http://www.vintagesynth.com/yamaha/sy77.php
